ecovantage was engaged to calculate the carbon emissions from Netspace operations and conduct an environmental assessment of the 3 storey Netspace head office and separate data centre.

ecovantage provided costed and prioritised recommendations to improve the energy, water and waste efficiency of the Netspace's operations. Some of the specific recommendations were to switch to GreenPower, replace halogen down lights with compact fluorescent down lights, replace single flush cisterns with WELS rated dual flush cisterns and introduce co-mingle recycling for bottles and cans. Following delivery of the final report, ecovantage organised detailed quotes from ecovantage’s network of tradespeople and specialists. Our tradespeople and specialists have arranged quotations for a new lighting design, for the replacement of single flush toilets and for the introduction of co-mingle recycling.

Netspace & ecovantage – measurable results

Netspace plans to implement ecovantage recommendations to install dual flush toilets to save water, change halogen down lights to compact fluorescent down lights, switch to accredited GreenPower and introduce co-mingle recycling facilities at their Camberwell premises. The result will be a positive impact for the environment in increased resource efficiency and a reduction of recyclable items sent to landfill.
