Our team

Bruce Easton is an experienced energy and water assessor and project manager with over 20 years of business experience, the last 5 years in the environment sector. Bruce is passionate about making it easy for businesses and individuals to act to reduce their environmental footprint. Bruce has a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Environment and Planning.

Amber Chamberlain is accredited by Sustainability Victoria to undertake 5 Star Building energy ratings and has several years experience undertaking energy and water assessments. Amber has led and managed energy and water efficiency assessments for a large number of households, schools and businesses and helped communities to live and work in a more environmentally sustainable way.

Govind Maksay has worked with a diverse range of of environment organisations over the years. Most recently he has worked at ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability on the Cities for Climate Protection Program. This role has involved directly working with local governments to help them reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In addition Govind has worked as an environmental educator at CERES Environment Park, at the Australian Conservation Foundation on the GreenClinic behaviour change program, and at the Business Council for Sustainable Energy on the National Photovoltaic Accreditation Program. Govind is due to complete a Masters of Environment and Planning in 2008, and holds both a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.

Dominique Bowen holds a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience with Agricultural Honours. She brings to ecovantage her experience in the development of environmental solutions and her passion for natural resource conservation. A qualified Carbon Account, Dominique’s main focus within ecovantage is the Agribusiness Beyond Carbon program.

Michelle Braunstein worked with Friends of the Earth Melbourne for several years. She dedicated herself to community education and organising, raising the profile of FoE’s Climate Justice campaign. She has a Bachelor of Social Science (Environment and Urban Planning), and helped to initiate a database of sustainable building materials for Sustainable Solutions. Michelle is a mother and is passionate about making a difference.

Malcolm Wilkie is an experienced sustainability consultant with a background in architecture and business, including business consulting. Malcolm looks forward to living in a more sustainable world and over the last 10 years has undertaken extensive research into all aspects of sustainability with particular emphasis on Ecologically Sustainable Design in the built environment. Malcolm has been one of the organisers of Melbourne’s Sustainable Living Festival
(the biggest event of its kind in the world). He services on the Council of the Sustainable Living Foundation.
