For many years, Mawson Lakes Mazda has been at the forefront of selling and servicing new and used vehicles in Green Fields and the surrounding region. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has made them a trusted name in the automotive industry. Recently, they decided it was time to extend this commitment to sustainability by investing in renewable energy solutions, thus embarking on a new journey to save energy and money.
Understanding the increasing importance of sustainability, Mawson Lakes Mazda approached Ecovantage with a vision to reduce their carbon footprint and operational costs. After a comprehensive analysis of their energy usage and potential savings, we installed a 100kW solar system on their premises in 2021. This system was designed to maximise energy efficiency and significantly cut down on electricity costs.
To further enhance their sustainability efforts, we also installed an EV charger at the site. This addition supports the growing number of electric vehicle users in the area, providing them with a convenient charging solution and promoting the adoption of EVs.
The implementation of the 100kW solar system and EV charger has already begun to show promising results. Mawson Lakes Mazda has observed an estimated 34% reduction on their energy bills. The success of this installation highlights the practical benefits of renewable energy solutions for businesses.
The solar system installation at Mawson Lakes Mazda is projected to offer a payback period of 5-6 years. This means that within this timeframe, the savings on energy bills will have offset the initial investment costs. Post this period, Mawson Lakes Mazda will continue to enjoy reduced energy expenses, directly contributing to their bottom line.
