Recent posts have focused on Ecovantage’s work in Victoria but we also operate in South Australia under the government’s Residential Energy Efficiency Scheme.
Ecovantage has seen an enthusiastic uptake of the REES Scheme in South Australia, with householders battling to conserve energy and keep bills down. In the last financial year alone, Ecovantage has been in over 20,000 South Australian homes in metropolitan and regional areas retrofitting energy efficient lighting, showerheads and stand-by power controllers. This represents a carbon reduction of approximately 140,000 tonnes and thousands of litres of water. Ecovantage’s trained staff have also delivered over 6,000 home energy audits aimed at assisting householders to become more knowledgeable on reducing energy use around the home.
The scheme has received great feedback from the public – any incentive to save on energy is warmly received. Ecovantage will be offering other energy efficient solutions in South Australia in the near future – so watch this space!
