We’re excited to share some fantastic news from the Ecovantage Professional Services Team: Arlen East has officially become an Approved Measurement and Verification Professional (AMVP / AM&VP) through the Victorian Energy Upgrades program!

This achievement represents dedication, a commitment to excellence in energy efficiency, and a lot of hard work. To be accredited an AMVP requires significant practical experience as a CMVP, a proven track record as a project lead across multiple projects, technical skill, independence and credibility. In many ways this sums up why Arlen is so respected by her peers.
What Is an AMVP?
AMVPs are a critical, independent role within the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, specifically for Project-Based Activities (PBA) using the Measurement and Verification (M&V) method. An AMVP is a professional who has demonstrated expertise in measuring and verifying energy savings from energy efficiency projects. The VEU approves who can be an AMVP, ensuring that professionals have the knowledge and skills to accurately assess whether energy upgrade projects are delivering the promised savings.
In practical terms, AMVPs play a crucial role in:

- Ensuring energy efficiency projects meet rigorous standards
- Maintaining the integrity of the VEU program through ensuring compliance with VEU regulations and guidelines
