Earlier this week we wrote about the Labor party election win being good news for Victorian business given their pre-election support for the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) scheme.

Well, now it’s official!

Energy and Resources Minister, Lily D’Ambrosio formally announced yesterday that the Victorian Government will retain the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) scheme (see Press Release – Energy Efficiency Scheme To Reduce Bills, Support Jobs). Ms D’Ambrosio also stated that they will review the scheme in the first half of 2015, with a view to strengthening it even further. We welcome this news and look forward to working with a constructive government which has it’s eyes to the future!

So, this is confirmation of good news for business, for jobs, for the environment.

2015 looks better already!
