Certified Carbon Neutral.

Climate Active

Ecovantage is proud to be certified Carbon Neutral by Climate Active for our organisation. It is important to us to live the values we promote, and lead by example.

A carbon neutral certification encompasses all of our business’ operations, including the carbon footprint of our teams from their home offices, commuting to and from our state offices, travel such as flights and accommodation, all the way through to printing of our brochures.

To learn more about how to make your home or business certified carbon neutral, see Climate Active.

Organisations We Support.

Arts Project Australia supports artists with intellectual disabilities, promoting their work and advocating inclusion in contemporary art practice. Australia’s first full-time studio for artists with intellectual disability, they’ve built an international reputation. Ecovantage fills our Melbourne office with their amazing artwork and purchases their gift cards and calendars.

Tutti Arts (South Australia) is a multi-arts organisation addressing the social and professional isolation of artists with disability by supporting skills development and creative relationships. The Ecovantage Adelaide office is furnished with art by Tutti artists, who run visual and performing arts programs worth checking out.

Studio A is a Sydney-based supported studio tackling barriers that artists with intellectual disability face in accessing education and professional development. They pave pathways for artists to achieve artistic and economic aspirations, with artwork sales directly benefiting artists. Ecovantage supports Studio A by decorating our Sydney office with their art.

Women’s Property Initiatives is a not-for-profit, women-specific, Australian Registered Housing Provider. They work with the private, public and non-government sectors to develop high-quality, safe and affordable housing for at-risk women and children.

We have worked with WPI in a pro bono capacity to upgrade old inefficient lighting in their properties to LED, solar PV, and heat pump hot water upgrades. Read more >

The Energy Savings Industry Association (ESIA) is Australia’s peak national, independent association representing and self-regulating businesses that are accredited to create and trade in market-based energy efficiency schemes across the country. Ecovantage COO, Tania Oldaker is the Assistant Secretary on the ESIA board, and Ecovantage’s founder Bruce Easton is a co-founder of ESIA.

The Energy Efficiency Council (EEC) is a not-for-profit membership association which exists to make sensible, cost effective energy efficiency measures standard practice across the Australian economy. We work on behalf of our members to promote stable government policy, provide clear information to energy users and drive the quality of energy efficiency products and services.

The Best Work Needs the Best People.

Our teams devote every minute of our working days to matters relating to carbon abatement and energy efficiency.

A diverse bunch, we are all driven by the common focus of climate change, clean energy production, supporting our clients toward net zero, and helping our partners deliver energy-efficient homes.

Founded in Melbourne back in 2007 by Bruce Easton in a small home office, we have grown to have teams in four states.

Looking Forward.

The Goal: 20 Million Tonnes.

As an organisation focused on the fight against climate change, we measure our success in carbon abatement; how much we abate directly, how much we process through the energy certificates market, and how much through the projects we work on with our partners.

In 2018 we celebrated the milestone of 5 million tonnes of abatement. At that point we created a target for our team to strive for: 10 million tonnes by 2025. In 2022 we hit 6 million, 7 million in 2023, then in 2024 we hot our target of 10 million tonnes, 7 months early!

After a brief celebration there was only one thing to do; set a new target. A more ambitious target of 20 million tonnes of CO2e by 2030.
