From Ecovantage CEO Bruce Easton in response to an article published in The Sydney Morning Herald today concerning the carbon tax and higher energy costs for business:
Disappointing to read that AIGroup are counting the cost of carbon without any mention of the state government schemes which help companies (and households) reduce energy use and cost. These schemes in Victoria and NSW have been helping companies in a very practical sense for several years. Energy savings of 10% to 20% are usually available with less than three year payback, even less when supported by the energy efficiency schemes. AIGroup would serve it’s members better by helping them access the schemes.
