Incentives, Rebates & Discounts.
These terms are used interchangeably by energy efficiency companies and while they are technically different things, they effectively mean the same thing for you; a lower cost to make your business more energy efficient.

How does Ecovantage
fit in?
As an accredited provider, Ecovantage undertakes auditing of completed projects to create energy certificates. You’ll engage a supplier/installer and they will quote for the work, including available incentives, and install the product.
LED Lighting.
Save up to 80% on lighting costs with an upgrade to LED lighting in your warehouse, offices and outdoor areas.
With an LED lighting upgrade you will achieve uniform light output for a safer and more comfortable working environment, and significantly reduced maintenance costs from replacing globes.

Reduced maintenance costs from replacing globes
In-situ replacements with minimal business disruption |
To reduce the investment into energy-efficient lighting, incentives are available in Victoria under the VEU program, South Australia under the REPS program, and New South Wales under the ESS.

Solar.
Whether you want to save on overheads and running costs, move closer to carbon neutral targets, enhance brand image, or gain a level of security against electricity price increases, solar is a great choice.
Cut overheads and running costs
Back-up power to keep you going (when paired with a battery)
A range of great financial incentives are available |
Small-medium solar projects <100kW can create STCs, larger systems >100kW can generate LGCs. Other certificates, such as VEECs, may be an option depending on your business goals.

Hot Water.
Heat pump hot water systems are rapidly replacing dated electric and gas systems in businesses around Australia. At up to 70% more energy-efficient, heat pumps deliver serious savings with immediate impact on your energy use.
Make a significant impact in your energy use
In-situ swap over in most instances with little downtime
Great financial incentives to help reduce out-of-pocket expenses |
Businesses upgrading hot water systems can access STC incentives Australia wide, and may be eligible for additional state-specific incentives such as VEECs, ESCs and GJs.

Batteries.
If you are exploring a new solar setup for your business, including a battery is a must to capitalise on the clean energy you create. If your building already has solar, retrofitting a battery can bridge the gap between self-generated energy and grid use, further reducing energy costs.
Reduce grid-energy consumption when the sun is down
Store excess energy when demand is low, deploy it during peak times
Own and contain your energy source for uninterrupted operations |
Commercial batteries are currently not incentivised under energy schemes, however small businesses may be eligible to create PRCs under the PDRS BESS1 program. A national battery incentive program has been announced which may include small to medium business. Small businesses in NSW may be eligible to ‘stack’ both of these incentives to save even more.

Electric Vehicle Chargers.
Power your fleet, provide extra customer value, and even generate a new income stream while making a substantial reduction in greenhouse emissions and the reliance on fossil fuels, by investing in commercial EV chargers.
Power your fleet with clean energy – from your roof if you have solar
Attract customers and become a destination
Future-proof apartment and office buildings and attract tenants |
While there are no certificate programs currently available for the installation of EV chargers, companies looking to electrify their fleet may be eligible for certificate generation.
