Authorised Certificate Providers.
Under the Australian Federal and State energy schemes, individuals and businesses can apply to verify and submit projects to regulators to create energy certificates.
Under the schemes these individuals and businesses are authorised under different titles.
Once accredited, providers work with businesses and installers to collate and verify evidence showing that a project meets the scheme requirements, then submits to the regulator to generate the corresponding quantity of energy certificates.
Authorised providers also trade energy certificates between parties, to meet legislated carbon abatement responsibilities.
